The Scorpion DC is a bada$$ looking reel.. you just need to take better pictures of it dude :lol: Ever think of trying the aluminum drag star from the Curado E? Should be a bolt in proposition no? ya i know, i need a better digi....but if you really wanna go there you should see my real work....mam...

Wow even 6 to 7 years on the Calais DC still looks freakin awesome. Its got to have the best looking cast control knob Ive ever seentargaboy175 wrote:my spinner bait setup, calais dc 201 with zpi handle and Yumeya knobs.

I agree with Bantam. 13 years ago I could buy a gallon of gas for .70 cents at some gas stations. Gas has went up by x4 so everything is going to go up. I hope if they do bring it here, they dont change the braking system but maybe they can make the spool out of aluminum instead of mg and that will ...

They should be the same reel, only the Calais has a longer handle if I recall and that might be the reason for the weight difference of 9.5 oz vs 8.8 oz.. Post pics of that beauty and tell us your thoughts on its performance.

The new 2012 Shimano Antares looks like a winner for distance. They have videos of Shimano Japan guys making almost 100 yard casts.
