Re: Best Copolymer

I like Yozuri Soft for cranking and some topwater work. Gamma copoly is a really tough line...never had a break off on it. I really like this stuff when I have to use a heavier line for reaction baits. Granted I only tried one spool of the Gamma copoly so I could've just gotten a bad spool I suppos...

Introduction of a SV deep spool \:D/ http://all.daiwa21.com/fishing/item/ize/op_parts_ie/rcsb_sv_s/index.html As seen in SS SV and limited Steez reels. Any word on the release of these bad boys? Re: Where are the shimanos?

I want to add Avail ESD handle for a couple reels. Don't really see a whole lot of them around. I guess because the drag star has to be purchased too? Yes, a sway back drag star is necessary. The handles are awesome...solid and sleek. Japan Tackle and Hedgehog generally have them in. Getting the st...

Hopefully a Super Red Demon. I need to call Gary and discuss if this stick will suit my needs.

Re: I'm a happy Man

Gary and Brian from The Tackle Trap took care of me once again. Today I received my new Simoom and Stella FI, this is one awesome combo. Like all Megabass rods and reels the craftsmanship is beyond words, this rod feels like part of your arm instead of something you are holding in your hand . It's ...

Re: Tackle for Prop Baits 101, tech specific

I have used a Steez 6' M/Chronarch Mg 51 combo in the past. This year it will be an X4 One-Ten Stick/Alphas Ito combo. I'll use a F4.5-64XFti Jota/Zillion SHLA for larger prop baits.

I agree with smalljaw, as I prefer my jerkbait rods for this presentation.

Re: Favorite Craw in Cold Water

I like the Yum Craw Papi in cold water, it depends on how you're fishing it. The biffle bug is solid too, just use the biffle hard heads and drag it on the bottom like a football jig. Yum Craw Papi until the water hits the low 50s. After that I like a Chiggar Craw. Do you guys find the Craw Papi ha...
