those of you that have it or used it/replied to this topic. im thinking about picking a Megabass Destroyer TS-78x+ from a friend. think it can throw a mother with it? it is rated to 15oz after all.

i have one. put lots of use on it this pre/post spawn. amazing crank. handled the 6xd/dd22 and other cranks of that weight /size/depth with ease. very sensitive and responsive. i would not recommend it for 10xd, etc style cranks. just don't think it'll handle the weight or overall pounding that rod ...

i have both the 7'1" Steez XT and the Tatula Elite 7'1". I use both for bottom contact and like the Tatula elite so much i purchased another one. The proper tip and plenty of backbone. extremely sensitive as well. Used it exclusively at Lake Berryessa last week to catch bass from 5-70ft on jigs fro...

anyway to upgrade the drag on an ss sv for more stopping power? i know its more of a finesse reel but i till like it for a few other things and am tired of hammering the drag down.

i saw that as well. man i hope its a shorter version of his 7'4". that rod is an amazing spinnerbait rod but its 2 inches too long. i kept saying to myself that i wish this thing was 7'2". maybe my prayers have been answered??

just picked up the Meyer 7'4" and will let you know after the weekend. it definitely has the back bone and tip for the neko/senko and its the rod Meyer used to catch that jumbo spotted bass on a wacky senko with. i have the Cronos 7'6" [ same as the Feider rod] and i don't like it well enough for n...
