Shad Rap of course and I also like Flap Slaps they are bullet proof and have great stock hooks on them all you have to do is take em out of the package and fish em !

Re: Do pros supertune their reels?
I think the pros don't have time to send in 10/20 reels to be polished/tuned. They need to be fishing. You reckon when Skeet or Ike/KVD breaks a rod or reel they get it fixed. I bet not. They throw it down in the bottom of the boat and make a call to their reel/rod sponsor and they send them replace...

Re: Favorite Spinnerbait
Chode answer is pretty much yes...... The revenge spinnerbaits are no slouches either but all you have to do is take one look at the wire on the advantage and you'll see what I'm talking about. It looks like piano wire or something it's super thin and springy like.

Re: Carolina rig Advice...
For me its a little different but works for me. I use a 7'10" rod 14lb flouro mainline with the same lb leader but in a green color usually 30" and sometimes 36" . 1 oz. weight pretty much exclusively I want the weight glued to the bottom. I never "set" the hook but rather crank hard and fast usuall...

Probably the nicest spinnerbaits I've ever thrown. They just vibrate like cra...

Re: I need a new crankbait reel and rod
If your a fan of longer handles the GLX would be your choice. The GLX has a lighter more crisp blank than the Dobyns. However the Dobyns is a powerhouse I have both the 805 and the 806 and I'll never get rid of them. They will launch !!

Re: Most manageable fluorocarbon?

I do also use sniper and shooter they are both great lines also but Tatsu is PLENTY sensitive for anything your wanting to use it f...

Re: Your preferred fishing style for deep water
Well deep to me is 40 ft and deeper so I go vertical. Sometimes dropping a big football jig down but the most effective by far is a jigging spoon. 52 and 54 are the deepest I've caught them this winter. 3/4 up to 2oz are my favorites.
