Re: Shattered my P3 Bearing Down
Definitely recommend the FMJ, you could fish with that stick all day and not get sick of it...

Re: Megabass ARMS
I've held a few of the casting but only have fished the 7'0" Super Leggera spinning and it's definitely my most sensitive and light spinning rod, feel everything on it!

Re: MB Evoluzion F4.5 Elseil
Realistically can throw ALMOST anything in it, depending on their preferences. I've thrown a lot of topwaters, shallow to mid-ish cranks, and even lighter spinnerbaits on it, never any bottom comtact but I'm sure it would do that fine as well.

Re: Megabass rod for cranking
I would suggest the same, the 7'11" GTA is a nice med/deep cranking rod, as long as you don't feel that the 7'11" is too big.....

Re: Diablo Spec R vs. Spinnerbait Special
I know I may be late to the party, but as you mentioned going another route, and using the EMTF for spinnerbaits, then I would say the Swingfire for your squarebills and medium cranks.

Re: Megabass Destroyer F7-77X (new model.."Record Breaker")
I know I am a little late to the party but, just weighed them both, 5.9oz for the Triple 7, and 5.0oz for the Record Breaker. Similar balance but Record Breaker a little faster taper. Both super sweet sticks, remember the Triple Seven also has wraparound guides. Hope this helps.

Re: Megabass jerkbait bait rod help
If you don't mind going to the XX line, and find the Jerkbait Special too short at 6'8", consider the FlatSide Special(7'0") or the new Diablo Spec-R (7'2"). Especially if you want to throw some bigger baits like the 110 Magnums.

Re: Megabass jig rod
Hey depending on what you guys are fishing (rod length restrictions in some tourneys), the FX-81X4 Black Python or FX-711X4 are both fantastic rods for the deep weeds. u the F6-72X4 is a great rod too, I just find it is a little short for that application.
Good luck whatever you go for.

Re: Help me pick my first MB (or JDM) rod
I definitely agree with the F6-72X4 Destruction sentiment for a few reasons, a couple of which are: 1) Probably the most versatile of the Orochi X-4 line 2)Being as how you said it would get good use, it is really an 'affordable, usable' MB rod that you won't be afraid to actually use Hope this feed...

Re: Suggestions on a Megabass rod for football jigs
Hey guys, I know this is a 2 month old post sorry to be so late to the party. Hey Matt have you decided on any of these yet? IMO go with either the Evoluzion Ti F5 1/2-77Xti or the Destroyer Racing Condition F5-72XRC. Another option would be the F6-72X4 in the Orochi X-4 line, not as flash definitel...

Re: About to pull the trigger on a MB F6-72X4 Cal Advise nee
I have a couple of these Black Pythons and they are beautiful sticks!! I use them mainly for dunking deep weeds, but I am sure could be used for a few different applications, swimbaits included. I used to use the 8'0" Daiwa Harrier for this application and I find this to be a little more sensitive t...

Hi, the FX-711RC is a telescopic rod, non-spiral wrapped guides. Sweet stick!!!
Hope this helps.

Re: What JDM rod do I need
Just a little heads up since we on the topic. Someone mentioned the F5-72XRC Megabass rod, which by the way is a beauty, but I happen to know that Megabass USA has one of these in stock as we speak, so could be a good opportunity to get one a)faster and easier b)with less shipping hassles and $$$? I am sure everyone has their favourites but here's two cents worth of mine.
French Pearl (or the OB version, orange belly)
MTNG for clear water
MSS is good almost anywhere
