New Combo
I recently traded for a Conquest and thought I'd post a pic with the rod I choose. I choose a Abu Fantasista Regista Super Texas Special. This makes for a super light weight combo for texas rig fishing. Sorry for the crappy pics, I need to be trading for a new camera. http://i200.photobucket.com/alb...

Re: Ordered 2 Legend's(how u like them?)
I have several LTB's and love them. They do feel a little more powerful than most other brand rods. The sweeper sb rod is very versatile. I have used it for close quarters pitching, chatterbait, topwater, etc. I really like the split grip, but that is a pesonal preference. They don't feel tip heavy ...

Re: Tackle and Fishing Stuff Storage at Home Ideas
Here's mine, pretty simple. Rods are hanging along the wall. Pegboard for my most used stuff. A cabinet and shelf for plastic boxes. Simple, but effective. http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa279/reelblues/IMG_2488.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa279/reelblues/IMG_2487.jpg http://i200.phot...

Re: spring bass fishing pre-spawn
Sounds like you are already dialed in to that lake. Looks like your hitting it at the right time. There will be the natuaral slowdown as they lock on the beds. Man, just enjoy it while it lasts. The high temps last week made for some spawning fish in my lake, but most of the fish are still in prespa...

Re: Shimano Cumara Reaction CUC70H
I use mine exclusive for bigger cranks. I love this rod! I haven't tried it for smaller -1/2 oz or less- as it seems it would just be too much rod.

Re: Fiberglass or graphite?
Graphite, graphite, graphite! About 3 years ago, I went on a search for the perfect cranking rod for me. I tried high end and low end fiberglass, and never could get the feel I wanted. That was about the time the Cumara cranking rods came out. I tried one of them, and it was love at first cast. I us...

ROD!!! What a Pig! Man, don't leave us hanging, About how big was she? I caught a 6 pounder this weekend, and she looked small compared to your pic.
P.S. Glad you could get out and enjoy a little time by the river.

Re: Very disappointed with the new Quantum Smoke
First of all - shame on Quantum for letting factory seconds be sold at all. [-X If you want to be a premium player, act like one. Secondly - they should credit you the shipping and send you a replacement (proving that you provide proof of purchase -to be fair). Let's hope they resolve this properly...

Re: Medium light baitcaster help
What are you looking to throw, cranks, plastics, etc? The Croix LTB Dropshot makes an excellent small to medium crank rod, as well as a drop shot rod. Not enough backbone for plastics, IMO.
