Re: Z bone frog rod
I use the 7-6 Hvy H3 for frogs. The Z-Bones will frog but I like them for bottom contact. The 7-6 mh Z-bone is kinda underpowered for frogs. If you're going to frog in the morning and worm later, and want 1 rod, then for sure the 7-3 hvy Z-Bone will fill the bill.

Re: Top Water rod for 1ozers
I've been throwing the I-Jack on the new Megabass Destroyer Wild Bunch Carbon Head, among other things. It handles 1 oz range top water baits very nicely. That Valkyrie 71H is an interesting option too... I know how much I enjoy the 71MH version in general. Off topic, are all the MB Valkyrie rods s...

Re: —Daiwa Catalina TW—
I have one on the way, in 7.3 gear. I have the new model Zillion HD and the new JDM Zillion HLC. Both are really good performers. Don't really need an SV spool for the heavier baits. If the Catalina is as good as these I will be happy. Will post up a pic when it comes in. The price was rite, didn't ...

The 1516 HLC would be a good option, holds a bunch of 50lb. braid and will sling a bigger bait a good way.

Re: 2019 Z Bone vs. Conquest
I have the 7-6 LE-5 Z-Bone and the CNQ 904. Both are great rods. They are neck and neck as far as sensitivity. With the Z-Bone being on sale, you can't go wrong.
