Re: Ned Rig on Casting Gear
Though I do prefer spinning gear for this I have used a Zillion TW SV 6 LB with a Steez XT 7'M to throw a 1/10 oz. Weight was not an issue for casting.

Re: New Senko/Neko Rod
I have the Daiwa Cronos 7'6" and the Tatula Signature Series 7'6" rod. The Cronos is a great rod without breaking the bank. I just got the 7'6" Seth Fieder rod in has a little more back bone and it's lighter due to the AGS guides. I throw a lot of Ned rigs and Neko rigs and these rods are perferct f...

Re: ICAST 2017
DirtyD64, I agree once you get to a little thicker line the 3000 because a better choice. When using flouro I'm mainly using 5 and 6lb. I only have one reel with 10 braid so I don't seem to have too many line issues. When I'm on the boat and we start to cover water I will take my drop shot rod and c...

Re: ICAST 2017
From what I understand the new Tatula is an upgraded Procyon. I have Ballistics and Sol's with the intention on getting the Luvias next. Not sure I will get the Tat spinning reel. Yes all the pros are mainly using 3000 sizes with a couple 2500 mixed in. Fieder loves the 3000 series because you can c...

I use mine for senkos on the new Tatula signature series Brett Ehler 7'MMH. Great combo.

Re: ICAST 2017
I haven't seen so I don't know if it will match the Elite rods. One would think so.

Vncnt,
Glad you like the rod., I think they are great for their price point. As a matter of fact I picked up 4 more Cronos rods a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Ned Rig on Casting Gear
I use both a stock Tatula SV TW and Zillion SV TW with a 7'M Steez XT. I can cast a 1/10 with a TRD Tubez a long ways and don't have to worry about backlashes. I fish them with 6lb Tatsu. These combos are awesome.

The one go to bait for me is the Strike King Sexy Dog and they are half the price of other baits. I also have the Evergreen JT's.

You wish you can turn the handle around? You should be able to unscrew it and switch sides.

Re: Anyone with experience with Daiwa cronos spinning rods?
Vncnt I have them both and fish them both a lot. I tend to grab the XF more then the F. Just my personal preference. I throw the ned rig a lot and love small plastic jerk baits but I usually have a drop shot rigged on the F or the 7'1"ML. When fishing the ned rig and small reaction baits I make long...

I'm sure you will like them. They are a very underrated rod. I'm actually going to order another 7'ML.
Let me know what you think after you fish it.

Re: Dropshot foulups
I know a couple of my buddies swear by them. I use them when the fish are aggressive so I don't have to worry about retying all the time. If the bite is super tough then I just use the regular G-finesse TGW drop shot hook.
