Have owned two OG MGX and two Gen 3 Premier . The only issues found were both carbon handles delammed on me . Abu not only replaced the whole reel ( why I have owned two of each) and did not want to bother me with unspooling the reels so they sent me two brand new reels plus my old spools. The reels...

Also. Just talked to my buddy who has an R+ on his and it also has no issues.
Possibly a lemon seat? Never heard of such a thing, but I also can't wrap my head around those specific seats not working on any Daiwa.

Got a red pixy on mine. No issues at all. But, I do use cut outs of very high quality (thin, not obtrusive or noticable at all) on all of my reels' feet. I got tired of seats rubbing paint off reels' feet.
