I have the 682L with a purple alphas/ sv spool and use it for just about anything I used to throw on a spinning set up. true 1/16 is a bit optimistic but 1/16 jighead + plastic might be do able, haven't tried it though. I can it can throw 1/8 road runners and unweighted trick worms with no problems....
