Yea I reviewed the specs, it is definitely a vast improvement over the old one, but I can't help but be skeptical about daiwa's "value" reels. High end stuff they do superbly, low end stuff, not so much.

definitely an innovative way to reduce weight. I'm waiting for the price though. All that structural engineering can't come cheap. If it's in the Tour price point, maybe I'll give it a shot. Anything more than that, I just can't justify spending it on a zebco.

I met jimmy houston not too long ago and was not impressed. Let's just say he's a little too "hollywood" for my taste...Bill's first blooper tape is a classic, but some of the subsequent installments seem a little staged. Can't blame him for trying to capitalize on a succesful idea though.
