Re: New Aldebaran and Metanium DC small pics and specs

I haven't read the entire thread. What's the line capacity on the Aldebaran?

Re: Let's see them spinners!

I got the Yumeya type III short knobs for my reel, it comes with two knobs and a tool, I saved the other knob for a Stella I want in the future :) I added U-40 cork seal to the knob that is on the reel, came out really nice. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7385/16211847289_bda2218350_c.jpg https://f...

As in handle knobs. I have some Daiwa Rcs knobs but that's about it. Can't seem to convince myself to replace the Shimano septons. I'm really just curious to see what looks good on what. I'd like to replace the one on my Rarenium ci4+ . Thinking Yumeya egging cork. At any rate let's see them fancy s...

Re: Trout jerkbait rod

How big a trout are we talking? I use the same sticks for all my jerkbait needs, regardless of species I happen to hook into. I've caught browns and trips up to 14 lbs on them. As long as you can get her turned and headed your direction you should be fine.

Re: Fast action rod, with flexible tip

Another option is Major Craft. Have a look at the Go Emotion 63ml in the basic series. Probably run ya 130 to 140 with shipping on the 1 piece. Rod has more power than you expect, soft tip and plenty of flex. I think they also have a 63m. Same basic idea with a little more power. Typical Jdm

Diameters are so close. I'm using 20 on my bfs. Still thin and handles well. No issues thus far.

Any Zillion spool will fit as well.

Hyper long cast
PE long cast

These prices are quite a bit more than what you can acquire for.

Re: Daiwa Airedge 681/682mlb

Test casted the Steez/IS spool in the parking lot today. This is the same spool that I had in the T3MX with the same line and same lure. Interestingly enough I got the exact same distance 100 ft, so I guess my perception that the T wing added distance was mistaken. It really does not add any measur...

Get some floaters and some that suspend. I have a variety of brands but Duo Realis and Yo Zuri treated me very good all of 2014.
