Tackle trap. I keep a spare bag with 5 pins and 5 bearing retainer clips
TackleTrap don't carry spool pins anymore, same with Daiwa.
I called both about two weeks ago.

Re: A list of great spool swaps

2 spools impressed me and I use these in my Steez SV TW, Zillion SV TW, and all T3 variants, instead of original SV spools. ZPI NRC M and Daiwa SLP Works RCS Magforce-Z 1012 G1, both are really longcasting, easy to handle spools. 1012 G1 somehow casts better compare to 1016 G1. https://fish-aaa1.kxc...

Definitely Costa.
Love the lenses. Frames quality and shapes are not the best though…

I originally paired it with a JDM met B which I am not satisfied with.
Are you not satisfied with skipping capabilities or with the reel in general?
Shimano SLX DC, Scorpion DC can skip really good as well.

Re: Daiwa Exist 22

Better for them to sell less at a higher price.
I stopped buying top of the line spinning reels, nothing wrong with top of the line I own from 2010 I still own and maintain myself.

Zappu makes a tiny underspin called the bredy
The Zappu Bredy Weedless Underspin 1/32nd oz model with the #2 hook and silver blade pairs perfectly
What blade do you like for crappy better - colorado or willow.

What is the next level of blank after this?
M40X is the best graphite Toray makes.

Re: Seriously still no news about new '22 reels?

WOW! What a beautiful tackle, what are prices!!!
If in past when I was telling people my combo cost ~$1000 ( which was shocking info for 99%, and this is First World country...),
now I guess have to tell $1500 or so.
New Glorious model 1611ML / H looks really promising.

Re: 2022 Daiwa Silver Creek Air TW Stream Custom

Definitely look nice! Tough call between this reel and GekkaBijin AIR TW PE special with 12 ball bearings. https://www.daiwa.com/jp/resources/fishing/item/reel/bait_rl/silvercreek_air_tw_sc/__icsFiles/afieldfile/2021/11/10/SilverCreekAirTW_StreamCustom_8.5L.jpg https://www.daiwa.com/jp/resources/fis...

Re: Short Frog Rod (for the kayak)

Throw frogs not too often, however, if I had to pick a designated rod for froggin, this would be it - Steez Frogger C67MH-FR 7-28g, should handle small and big frogs really well.

Re: Japan Lure Shop

Stuff gets delivered very quickly, if it’s in stock and ready to ship, when it’s out stock it’s a different story. They use FedEx Air for now.

OK! Thank you gents!
I may pick size 120 for our generally small bass in GA public lakes.
150 is way too big.

What’s a fair msrp price for it? It’s either sold out or selling price over $100.

Re: New Poison Ultima / New Daiwa Steez rods

New Steez rods match the new Poison Glorious line up. The Ultima series matches Daiwa Racing design series. For every Ultima I bought I paid ~$700 plus shipping from Japan.
