Re: Alternative to Fish Hedz Masks

Jim Neal is no longer with them. You're right, he is a nice guy but gone. Paul Facio is the guy to talk to now. If you're going to order http://www.genevaenterprises.com ! George is a great guy to deal with and takes great care of his customers. You can call him at 281-433-3917.

Re: Question about flouro

Sunline is a Japanese line company and Sniper is their #1 selling fluorocarbon line, or was the last time I checked. They also make the Siglon fluoro which is limper but has more stretch and less abrasion resistance and the Shooter, which is a little stiffer, but has less stretch and more abrasion r...

Re: Alternative to Fish Hedz Masks

You and I are saying the same thing. If you can stop the mask from fogging they protect everything else as the Company says. However the Company also says they will not fog and they will. If they fog up you can't wear them, unless you like going down the lake blind, so what good are they then as fo...

I was at the factory yesterday and again today and saw what they were using. When was the last time you were there?

Re: Alternative to Fish Hedz Masks

Another problem with those style masks is the flat lens. It will virtually eliminate your peripheral vision. With the Save Phace (Fish Hedz) masks you still have most all the peripheral vision as well as the anti-fog and scratch resistant lenses. And starting at $59.99 they're not that much more exp...

Re: Kistler Carbon Steel New Rods

Love Kistler.. id take a Kistler over a Loomis any day. Are you crazy? Kistler is not even in the same league as G Loomis. Kistler uses cheap low end components on their rods. Loomis Uses Fuji components, just like the ones on those JDM rods you love so much. ;) Sir, you are mistaken! If you really...

Re: Best rod for the money? Kistler magnesium or powell?

I have 2 of the Kistler Magnesium series crankbait rods and 1 I have used for over a year. I do not take it easy on my tournament tackle, and it has held up very well. The handle is a little bigger because it is a composite graphite/fiberglass rod so the blank is larger at the butt end. I have exper...

Re: Rattletraps in grass -Deep Cranks : rod help

I use the Kistler HE76MHC for both applications. I know you didn't ask about Kistler, but I use this point to say that the same rod will work for both applications and do a good job with both if you have the right rod.

Re: Fluorocarbon Showdown

It was stated in the review that there is only 3 factories in the world that makes flourocarbon,1 in germany 2 in japan. Then why does a spool of Vanish I ran across state "MADE IN USA". I do believe ther is other brands of flouro lines not made in those 2 countries. If Vanish is not made in USA, b...

Re: Does sensitivity have anything to do with stretch?

Good question! It is (Ithink) relatively easy to answer. The harder any object is, the more it will transmit vibration. Take a knitting needle and a piece of thread and see which one you can feel more thru, or any hard versus soft object! That is why I use fluoro more for ptichin' and flippin' inste...

Re: kistler magnesium rods

Good advice BillyBass and RonH! I have 2 of the mag series crankbait rods and the bigger crankbaits will work you to death. It is great for shallow to medium divers though. A better rod in the mag series would be the 7'0" Senko?Worm rod in MH. MGSWMH70. It will serve the purpose well for the baits y...
