Re: TDZ 100ml Restomod

Good looking reel, I would like to see how it would look with some clear corks on it.

Re: Daiwa TD-Z retrieve problem

The sound you are hearing is the pin in spool shaft bouncing across the top of the pinion gear. If the gear was not bad before it probably is now. Your reel was not designed to be spun quickly and come to a sudden stop. You can try stretching the clutch springs just a tweak and see if it will seat t...

Re: TD Fuego Question

1016 spool will work but leaves a small gap. There is a post on here somewhere about people using them in the Fuego and TDZ-100 with and without spacers.

review of 1016 in the Fuego, TDZ-100 pg3 about half way down.

Re: Any love for the NRX 853c and 854c

I love my 853c, very good jig rod for jigs in the 3/8 and under range has fantastic sensitivity for any contact bait. The rod is extremely versatile. Can't imagine what is not to love about it.

Re: Best spinning reel under $100

I picked up a couple of the new Daiwa RG-AB, they are well under a 100 dollars, and for a budget reel they are as good as I have used. If you see in your local tackle shop pick one up and give it a feel.

Tim is one of the good guys. He has worked deals with me and all of them have been very pleasant. Great communication, items are always better than listed, and he will work with you to make the deal right.

Have no hesitation dealing with this Man.

Re: Ned rig rod

You don't need anything special to fish the Ned Rig, purchase yourself a cheap spinning rod, and a descent spinning reel, spool it up with a good quality line and you will catch many many fish. If you have time do a little reading about Ned Kahde and the equipment he chooses to use for this type of ...

Re: Experience with Loomis XPeditor service

Used them yesterday 7/23/2016 for a broken GLX 854c, they are out of many rods due to the new rods coming out. I was able to upgrade for 85 to the NRX rod of my choice plus the expediter fee.

Re: Revo3 Winch 5.4:1

I don't think it will work, but this is based on previous models. Models with the one piece spool shaft do not use the same gear set as models that use the two piece shaft. Reason being is the distance to the pin in the shaft that the pinion gear engages is a different distance on each type of spool...
