Re: Conquest 101 doesn’t cast far anymore
How many brakes are you running on your Conquest?
I know that has nothing to do with the problem, I'm just curious...
I'm running one brake on, and its amazing the distance I'm getting.

I know and I appreciate it, I was just messing with you above.Bantam1 wrote:There are many ways to make the reel have a very light rotation while having good durability. I was just trying to help you out with a warranty repair.
This forum wouldn't be the same without you.
Thanks Bantam.

Re: Shimano Conquest 101?
I turn them around in 48 hours or less. Plus it will get a full cleaning and service. I think I might be a little better at making the Conquest perform than you ;) No worries, I will just order some new gears, I got a lot of HH parts on this reel. 5 days to get to you, 2 days for turn around then 4...

Re: Shimano Conquest 101?
I checked all the bearings and everything, I even swapped gears from my 101hg to my 101 and it was good to go.
Its defiantly the gears, I also take really good care of my reels and don't use them hard...

Shimano Conquest 101?
Hello, been using my 101 for a bit and its was the smoothest reel ever, now it grinds and it feels like the gears are shot, I took it apart and cleaned the reel and it was super smooth again but only for about two outings and now its buzzing again while reeling... :-s I also have a 101hg I got from ...

Re: Light and Tough? It Does EXIST and It's Made by Daiwa
Cal you should send me both reels to try out
Awesome review/s
At this point in time I'm leaning towards the Daiwa Exist over the Shimano Stella.
But can't wait for the shootout.

Re: New 2018 Stella FJ and Bantam MGL
18 bearings, quick change gear ratios, ambidextrous reeling, 2 gram spool that can hold either 40 yards of 5# or 200 yards of 20 with the push of a button, weighs less than 4 ounces with 40# of max drag and fits into a small or extra large hand. Aside of all joking, have you seen those cheap-o inte...
