How many brakes are you running on your Conquest?
I know that has nothing to do with the problem, I'm just curious...

I'm running one brake on, and its amazing the distance I'm getting.

I turn them around in 48 hours or less. Plus it will get a full cleaning and service. I think I might be a little better at making the Conquest perform than you ;) No worries, I will just order some new gears, I got a lot of HH parts on this reel. 5 days to get to you, 2 days for turn around then 4...

I checked all the bearings and everything, I even swapped gears from my 101hg to my 101 and it was good to go.

Its defiantly the gears, I also take really good care of my reels and don't use them hard...

Hello, been using my 101 for a bit and its was the smoothest reel ever, now it grinds and it feels like the gears are shot, I took it apart and cleaned the reel and it was super smooth again but only for about two outings and now its buzzing again while reeling... :-s I also have a 101hg I got from ...
