I just bought a bunch of Texas rig jigs and diesel craws...i can't wait to try them out...

I own both the 7' and the 7'2 flex-lites ....spaz is rite on with his assessment of the 7'...I use mine for the exact same baits he stated.....as far as the 7'2 besides what everyone else has contributed for it's uses I would like to add that it is a awesome spook rod....tons of power, no worries ar...

I wouldn't say any of those baits are light enough that the 103 would shine over the 100. I use a 100 for weightless 6" yum dingers and it works great. Since the baits aren't too light, I think it comes down to what length handle you like. X2 ...as an owner of both reels I agree 100% with blackjack...

What techniques do you like to use this rod for??? Where does it shine?

I have one of the older full rear handle spinning models, absolutely love it, wish the still made it with the full rear handle. ](*,) I have a very lightly used full cork handle model sitting in a rod rack...I upgraded to the g looms glx and never looked back....I loved the st. Croix ds rod and agr...
