Very nice combo. If I own it and put a scratch on it I will be crying my butt off.

Re: Beginner Muskie Fishing Set Up
Welcome. Keep checking the sales board. For decent muskie reel I'd look for a used 400B. Good luck.

Re: cumara broke (again)
I bought a new crucial 6'8 medium last week and it broke in 3 pieces from the first hook set  Luckily for me it broke the same day I bought it. So I just got a refund. This is the first time that I've had a rod broke on me. The saleperson told me that it was supposedly stronger than the last y...

Re: Swim Jig Insanity
I use the little skinny dipper with my dirty jigs. I also use a little super glue to glue it to the jigs. I also just got some northstar jigs. Might have to give them a try. My favorite color is the houdini. I had intance when the tail is bitten off the fish still hit it. The tail of the dipper is r...

Re: Sufix Invisiline
I bought 3 100 yard-spools recently (10lbs rating). My first cast, the line was break somewhere and the lure is gone . Spool up the second one and so far it seems to be OK. Not too impress so far. Might have to bring the last one back and get a return.

Re: Senkos and their different sizes
Personally in the spring (water is cold) or late fall I down size my senko. For summer I go with the 5-inch senko. Colors make no difference to me so far. I fish them either weightless or with a 1/8 oz tungsten bullet.

Re: MBR844 GLX Blades??
I think you made the right choice. I have an 843 glx that I use for 1/2 oz chatter bait and I think it's struggle a bit in heavy weedy area.

Re: Rod for Alphas/Pixy
Right now my pixy is paired either with my GLX802 or with an older version of the Shimano crucial drop shot rod (6'6, 1/8 - 3/8 Oz?, cork handle). I have not yet thrown anything closed to 1/16 though.
