Missing Cast Control Cap
I have a Chronarch CH101BSV. Somehow the cast control cap has gone missing. I have contacted Shimano Canada to see if they have a replacement part. Sadly they do not. I have checked Ebay for BNT 3212 - no luck. Is there a compatible cap from another Shimano reel that is still in production? Is there...

Re: What piece of cheap or tackle gear do you use and love?
A Fenwick Elitetech baitcasting Crankbait rod. The older 2 colour rods. Picked it as it was the last rod they had in that line. Got it for 50$ (down from marked price of $70). One of my better light crankbait rods. Also have some Daiwa Aird spinning reels and some Shimano Sahara reels that I regular...

Re: Looking for a budget Cranking Rod for deep diving cranks
Look at the Gloomis Deepflex series. CBR 803 DF 6' 8" E 1 8 - 14 1/4 - 5/8 Moderate Medium $265 CBR 864 DF 7' 2" E 1 10 - 20 3/8 - 1 Moderate Med-Heavy $285 CBR 896 DF 7' 5" E 1 12 - 25 1/2 - 1 Moderate Heavy $295 MSRP might be higher than you want but these rods work for deep diving cranks.

F3.5-70S SHAKEY HEAD
Just picked up my new Levante F3.5-70S SHAKEY HEAD! to go along with my Orochi XX Shakey head.
Also picked up a dobyns 633C . Looks like it will be a nice popper rod paired up with a chronarch mg 50.
Can't wait for Saturday

Re: What's in your reel collection?
Started with Quantum reels. Moved to Shimano, then Lew's now trying Diawa's. Switched from Quantum to Shimano because I was having issues with Quantum (they broke down too quickly, even with constant maintenance). Went to Shimano (100dsv's) then the E series. Was very happy with them until they chea...

Re: New UL Vintage Rod Build
http://50.6.73.68/picit/1492787720.7258.jpg Just finished an UL casting rod build. Bought an old handle from fleabay which needed a lot of work. Had my rod guy attach a Lamiglass UL blank. Total cost $120 and I still have another handle left over. Next one will be all stealth black That is a thing ...

Re: How do you define your enthusiasm?
I don't consider a dollar amount as an indicator. I also do not include lures ,as I can never see myself launching a hundred dollar lure into our pike/musky infested waters. I balk at throwing 20-30 lures (but I do). It is more: 1) Do I want something new? (need not part of this because we all need)...
