Re: nrz 852c vs st croix elite 7mfc
i have both of these rods and while in my hand the nrx 852 is more sensitive the backbone part might go a tad to he st croix that fishes more like a med plus. that being said the 852 will get into the backbone quicker than the st croix does because it is a xfast vs the fast taper. it will give you a...

Re: going price on CH50 Mg's
the frame condition will help a lot as well if they are rashed up it hurts the value quite a bit even with all new internals. it goes both ways though i bought a no rash 10 out of 10 cosmetic one for 165 a while back got a week out of it and the worm gear fouled up as well as some bearing issues. do...

Re: Luvias LT

Re: Titanium Framed reels?
although it seems. i'm not bashing daiwa with a full heart love the reels but please daiwa bring something to regenerate some enthusiast flair back into the equation. that being said the tatulas are great for the price and are truly great performers, only one i will sort of not regret hating on was ...

Re: Titanium Framed reels?
Sorry hobie not yet they are still catching largemouth on the smallmouth only tatula so they have to work out the kinks, or get new pro staff for further testing. only for sure thing is they have the spider on the side.
Re: Luvias LT
i own mostly shimano reels but i have to say the new certate is bad a$% ive had it since they arrived for sale and it has not given me any problems at all great drag and just an overall great feeling reel. i want a luvias as well i just hate the deep sea line capacity they made for the spools on tho...

Re: New Poison Adrena
after more time i have some that feel very sensitive in hand as with the nrx rods as well, and some that do not. the 7'2 m adrena is pretty sensitive for it not being built for primarily bottom contact fishing and i would almost say it is more sensitive in my hands than say the nrx 854 which i thoug...

Re: Titanium Framed reels?
yeah i hope they get the grease figured out. The new models will be promising though 1. daiwa tatula elite short cast model 2. daiwa tatula mid cast model 3. daiwa tatula smallmouth only reel in all seriousness the titanium reel would be a small market i really don't see a manufacturer being profita...

Re: Zolo Toadface?
yeah they are great rods i own a few of them. From my experience they fish very well even though they are a fraction of the cost of some of my other rods. but they arent going to be a steez rd or anything but i mean the price reflects that. The toadface is one of my favorites it just does a lot well...

Re: Sustain FI opinions
i have three that are on st croix legend elites and they get a good workout through the season. Honestly it is a good stout reel and none of them have given me any problems and the drag is pretty good as well. When i bought them they did feel better than the stradic fk and more solid than the ci4 pl...

Re: Do You Have A Favorite Cheap Rod?
i bought a used fenwick techna av 7' med casting rod that i really like its just super comfortable to fish. i paid 100 for it and would definitely get another if i could find one in that condition it has the first gen guides that are all double footed up the rod.
Re: Daiwa BLX
it is labeled as a hvy which imo it is but not a very hvy rod in its own spec. i would say the rods sweet spot was 1/2 - 3/4. to me the daemos has more of a fast taper and is a little lighter in power than the blx. The blx in the 7'4 length is one of the limber graphite model rods as well so the bla...
