I fish blades during ice-out, or anytime I need to get to a deep school of fish in 20+ft of water. Fish them like a lead spoon sometimes. I feel them down to the bottom, when the bait reaches bottom it's "zip zip zip, pause it in the water column, zip zip repeat. (1/2oz is good to about 20ft) 3/4oz...

Heavily trafficked lakes are very hard for topwater. The chop makes it difficult for the fish to even notice the bait...

Shooter is for bottom contact while sniper can be used for crankbaits and moving baits

yes it is true. Some are lbs with some after such as 12.2.

Braid is a must for frogs. Try carrying a spare spool with braid or flouro to get the best for both applications
