Re: Phenix PHX-C682 = BFS rod
I've been using a Phenix K2 713 for my BFS needs, mostly ned rigs. The top of the lure weight rating (5/8) in my opinion really pushes it. I've done some light split shotting with it as well. It's really sensitive and fun swinging it around with the Aldy BFS.

Re: Crankbait/ChatterBait Rod /w conquest 100
Depending on the size cranks you use, and depth, i use a Phenix M1 72H. This rod is carbon fiber vs. graphite, but has a nice smooth load. I'd call it a Fast taper. I primarily use it for 3/8-5/8 ounce chatterbaits and spinnerbaits around shallow cover and vegetation. I'll also crank 3/8oz + square ...

Re: Fall Delta Punching Video
it's a canned edit feature. i basically just pick the clips i want mashed together and the app does the rest. Pretty legit. Copyright laws prevent me from using my own music on platforms like Instagram/Youtube/Facebook, so i just upload it to the GoPro site.

Fall Delta Punching Video
I'm like 8 years late on the whole GoPro thing, but I have been messing with it some this year. I really appreciate the apps GoPro provides, with templates for your videos, it's made it super easy. I'm looking forward to messing with some of the more advanced apps soon, but for now... https://quik.g...

Looking for feedback on MB Destroyer T.S. Series, esp 77x "Casino"
I'm looking for feedback on these rods. I'm especially interested in the TS77x "Casino". What are you using it for and what are it's strengths?

Re: Frog Rod ideas????
Are you fishing over matted vegetation? If so, I think the recon elite will be awesome. If you're trying to walk/work your frog in open water, the tip might be a little fast and take some adjusting. I think a Phenix MBX 707H is a great all around option.

Re: Frog Rod ideas????
As a Phenix user, the M1 78H or Recon Elite/Recon 2 796 or 766. Just depends on how stiff a frog rod you like. the 766/796 are going to be a little stout. Those three run less than $200 each. The UMBX 707H works well too. A classic is the Cumara 74H. but that's kind of heavy in weight. A buddy of mi...

Re: New chronarch mgl - Malaysia :(
Just Japan. Scanned the box real quick, didn't see anything that stood out, but i was pressed for time and needed to get moving spooling the reel. The foot on the reel didn't say anything either, that i noticed. Malaysia or not, it's a fine reel. The Micro module gearing stood out to me whilst loadi...

I spooled mine up over the weekend, the edge of the sideplate says japan.
