Anyone fished the 2 piece Phenix Feather spinning/casting rods? Been looking for 2 piece models and saw them on TW. Spinning reel seats are weird looking, but if light and durable I may try one or 2.

I have owned the 842 conquest and still have the 852 NRX and 842 GLX. The conquest is rated for 1/2 oz and is more powerful. Thanks I never had equated that; but it makes sense.

Too spendy for me I think, but like that rating and heard the Conquest handles are very comfy.

I can't stand my GLX handles so they are going in on an ALF trade-in soon.

Can anyone confirm the above spinning rods are rated to 1/2oz? All other Loomis in that SJR range are 3/8 oz.

Think Thailand or Malaysia. They do uniquely have the spool shaft bearing like the Exist though. Luvias and Certate do not.
