Re: is the sustain the USDM twinpower model?
I have 3 old Sustains , one old Twinpower, and a ewes. Twinpower. All are excellent. But the newer , I think 2011, is the one I prefer most. It is simply FLUID!! I may end up selling off the old Sustains, but I like how they look very much. Sad thing is I have used them all very little since I prefe...

Re: Best 100$ to 200$ rods
As far as the Tatula, I had the 6'10" Medium I bought for about $75. After using it a bit I think it is the best $100 Rod. No more than that. Sort of "meh' Rod , plain Jane. Sold it.
Haven't tried the Zodias, but got 3 Poison Adenas for under $200 so I feel THEY are the best under $200

Re: Jackall Adrena
I'm really appreciative of Simmons sporting goods for allowing me to pick up 3 different models of the Adrenas for less than $200 each. Best $200 rods I have and very versatile.
But clearly not anywhere as sensitive as my NRX 893. Of course I did not expect them to be.

Re: G.Loomis E6X
I had the 843 E6. In my opinion it's not worth $189. My mom and pop had them for $139. That's about what they could move them out the door for. Now that the full cork Classic is out, it sells better. They are simply OK. NOT GREAT, not bad. It was first relegated to the Rod rack; and later sold. I re...

Re: Curado 70 vs Scorpion 70
I was #6 and I should be receiving it Monday or Tuesday. Going on a Poison Glorious 6"10" ML. Should be a great combo. If so I'll be selling my new ALPHAS SV. (a great reel but I have a lot of Alpha platform reels). Do you have the new PG? I DID get the Poison Glorious but since it came sooner I pu...

Re: 13 Met vs. Chronarch CI4 Revisited
I got in on the Japanese Yen Frenzy and bought the Met 13 and the Chronarch Ci14. At those reduced prices I couldn't pass them up. In just a short time I felt the Met was superior in all ways, but that is subjective. The Chronarch just didn't have the "substantial Feel" that I needed. So I sold the ...

I checked Amazon today and ordered a Poison Adrena for only $199 shipped.
So by waiting I actually saved more than getting it at TW.

Re: Conquest 100hg came in (size comparison)
I've got one and love it! Also have the older model Conquest 50S shallow spool which will outcast it and is SMALLER than the 15. Just ordered another 50S today( hard to find in mint condition ) I gotta get an NRX 842 soon. One is on a MB Hedgehog and the other on a Jackson Super Trickster 6'4" Light...

Re: Shimano Antares Vs Exsense Casting Distance - Frogging S
I just looked at my first Antares HG today. I'd like to have one but at above $400 seems a tad much for frogs. I have the Excense on a 7'3" Omen 2nd generation M/H and it proves to be a great match. Thought about putting the Excense on one of my Megabass rods but it's overkill. May put it on a Kistl...

Re: Baitcaster for light lures
I have to agree with Bootytrain. One mans "cup of tea" might be "bilge water " to others. Depends on what you have been using. I jumped on the Daiwa SV train, called best bang for the buck. It IS a nice reel but nothing really special to me. My Curado stock 50 E and cheaper Scorpion XT 1000 both are...
