Re: Why JDM reels over USDM reels-Just thinking out loud
I am with Cal on this. All my reel that I use are Shimano's & most of them are JDM reels. I have more choices as I am left-handed.

Re: When to use a 1/4 oz Spinner Bait
Fred take a look at the War Eagle line up they have 3/16, 5/16 & 1/4 oz. Also have a 1/2 oz. with a 1/4 oz. profile(Screamin Eagle). I start with the smaller sizes in the early spring & adjust as needed.

Re: "Perfect Body" Evolve ad on main index page
I bought a few of them & I will say you could not give me another one. On a good long cast the thing will sink before you can get it back to the boat unless you keep it moving at a pretty good clip. It fills with water which comes in around the hooks so there is no way to plop, plop, fizz, fizz retr...

Re: Aurora Covers...what material??
I had one on my 2002 Ranger but I don't remember what material it was made from. It was a excellent cover. I called them, they were very helpful, told me the pro's & con's about each material before I made my choice. When my cover goes on this Ranger you can bet I'll have another Aurora cover.

I have been using these for a long time. I fish them Texas rigged & hop them to get better tail action.

Re: Jackall Iobee Frog is here
T/W has no spec's on them yet, but I don't see what the big deal is. They appear to be the same as several other brands that T/W sells. Does anyone have some spec's?

Re: Calais 100A vs 200A
Good choice but for us overlooked left-handed people we have to go to Japan for the Antares AR. With the value of the dollar it's expensive.

Re: Black Friday is drawing near!
I went to black Thursday yesterday at Dick's Sporting Goods. I purchased 2 Shimano Curado;s 201E-7 out of the show case for $32.49 each plus tax. They were marked down to $129.97 but I had bought one a couple of weeks ago for 75% off so I ask the salesperson, I had to wait for about 10 min for the s...

Re: Spinnerbaits?
I use War Eagle but down here it's largemouth. From time to time you will hook up with a mudfish which will tear your stuff up but so far my War Eagle's have stood the test.
