Re: Major Craft Days 360
I thought I may pick one model up to try, as it is all the rods out of stock. How many MC released of each model 10,20, 50 any thoughts?

Try small/medium size frog. Jackall Kaera is a good choice.

Re: Daiwa SS Air TW
I remember you saying your Aldebaran was one of your smoother reels, but how would you compare the SS Air TW against the Aldebaran BFS for gear feel/smoothness? I'd assume the Conquest would be better, but sharing the same gears as the Aldebaran, the aluminum frame would be the major benefit... The...

Re: New Steez A II vs High End Shimano’s
What is the difference between the spool of the Steez A II and the Zillion TW HD? As I recall - TW HD has 16lb -100m A II - 14lb-100m/16lb-90m Both are MAG-Z Boost. https://contents.slp-works.com/img/product%2FRCSB_MAG-Z_BOOST_1000_G1_slv_1.jpg https://www.daiwa.com/jp/resources/fishing/item/reel/b...

Re: New Steez A II vs High End Shimano’s
Imho, if anyone says either one is superior to the other, then they are splitting hairs. There is plenty to like about either brand and it comes down to personal preference. I'm a Daiwa guy, because I like consistent control. This comes at the price of a slightly lessened distance, which Im ok with...

Re: 2023 Steez “Real Control” Rods
Looks like Shimano erased all info about M40X graphite and PG series.
I definitely remember that this information was before the New Year.
They cannot keep up with rods material cost increase.

Re: Good Tackle Thread (overlooked products)
Gen 1 Orochi EMTF. I also used a gen 1 Orochi PP at 1st but it didn't cast it well and really only pitched it decently. Any standard MH rod woukd work. I like the old EMTF because its no slouch of a MH and I can fish the 130 on it too. I would guess the Gilly 110 weighs near 3/8 oz. It's a good hun...

Re: A source for 4x7x2.5mm bearings?
BOCA ABEC5 is a way to go, if you want your knobs spin for ~15sec or more.
Otherwise - NMB from Japan is not that bad.

Re: Swagger Strong Game Special
Swagger rods are available for purchase - ~260USD May pick up Technical Flogging Special Should be good for walking frogs. So are these the rebranded Black Label, or BLX lineup in USDM, or these more akin to nicer Tatulas? I think this series is on par with Black Label series. So far only two model...

Re: Where to buy spool bearings?
Thank you! That appears to be my best option right now. Also, I can't find much info on what size spool bearings I need for my old Team Daiwa Fuego (the red ones). I think these are correct: 5x11x4 3x8x4 Can anyone confirm? Thanks I never had this reel, but what i google it at Boca website - this i...
