Red Spinnerbait
What is yalls experience with red spinnerbaits? The typical mantra is always use white or chartreuse (black at night) but is that just hochum? The guy who does the informative fisherman show likes red spinnerbaits with colorado blades in the spring as it mimics the thumping tail of a darting craw. W...

Re: Swim Jigs....when to use them???
24/7 Caught a mess of bass last month with one in high 30s water by ticking top of grass. I prefer paddle tails for trailers, like the sleeker profile. They can work as a standard jig in a pinch too. Sometimes though the bass don't want them and you either need to slow down with a flipping jig or go...

Revenge have great colors and realistic head and great hook. Very thin profile helps it slither through grasses better than any other swimjig

Re: Steez Rods - value at lower cost?
I have 6'7" mh. 1. Very light...With a tdz I can cast it all day 2. Air beam is very comfortable imo. 3. I have qc issues too with guide epoxy and even a misaligned guide! I bought it used so no warranty. 4. Length and action is suited for single hook moving baits and that's what it is good at. I ha...

Re: Flipping Fluorocarbon
Chris Lane had an interview recently where he said shooter is the better flipping line due to knot strength/abrasion resistence and low stretch. Sniper has more stretch and is more supple which improves casting.

Re: Mustad FasTach wobble head (use your own hook)
Too expensive. I have some and regret it due to price. They work well but the wire will straighten out on a snag and you'll lose your hook and irreparably damage the jig head.

Buck splizzors
Anyone have a pair of these yet? Slices through heavy heavy braid with no problem and has replaceable blades. Comes with needle nose pliers as well.
