Re: Favorite Spinnerbait
I still have a stash of 30+ NIB Daiwa RPM spinnerbaits in the storage. Sad they got discontinued.

Re: So... Fireline
I'm using 10lb Fireline on my Aldabaran XG BFS Limited and a Major Craft Volkey 692 L casting rod. I throw Jackall Super Eruption spinnerbaits and Dera Break "Chatters" with it. I've taken fish to 8lbs on the set up. I've never had any issues with the Fireline.....old or new formulation. The old st...

I never got a 110 from JLS, usually Megabass plastics. I did get a t-shirt from Troutshop.jp though.

Out of the choices, I would go with the robo. Personally, I use the Reins bubbling shaker.

Re: DR-Z2020. 8.4 ratio
I think these guys set no drag and flip them into the boat. You can catch giant GT with the smallest size Saltiga, so muskie should be no problem.goldrod wrote:What do you mean not a musky reel? You can catch a musky on an aldebaran.

Any of the matte colors on the darker side would be perfect for trouts.

Jighead Underspins with Gama or Owner hook
As the ititle says, does anyone know of any brands that uses those hooks? I had some really bad QC VMC hooks from the package. I can return them, but its a pain.

They used to be my go to, but now i replace them with Keitech and Reins. The Bubbling Shaker is the most effective soft bait for my lakes.

Re: 2016 daiwa certate 2510 vs twin power 3000 xd
I have both reels and would lean towards the Certate. If you want more power, go with the 2510RPE, the "R" means 3000 size body and 2500 size spool and rotor. You really can't go wrong with either, but the characteristics you asked for is closer towards the Certate.

Re: Super finesse Dropshot Rods
I'm with you, the Stinger Shot is way too much rod for this specific application in my hands. Some of my nice panfish rods from the past Kirisame series, maybe even the X7 Parry Arc would be fantastic. That 2016 Ambitious is still a top contender in my mind however... I was actually thinking of the...

Re: Super finesse Dropshot Rods
I don't know about the Stinger Shot, it is a Medium power afterall. I would try to stick with an F0-F1 if i was you or something in the light power department. I personally use a light powered Kaleido rod for the 4lb dropshot setup for the past 6 years and still haven't found anything better.
