They probably went to 10' so the guys can use fly rods. I don't think your gonna see 10' BASS rods right away I think you'll see them creep up in length,first there will be an 8 1/2 ft flipping stick and cranker then it will creep up from there. But hey who knows

I have the 7'4" Hvy and it think it balances better Than my 894 NRX. Does the NRX edge out the St. Croix in sensitivity ?
