Duckett Triad

Anyone checked em out ?? Saw a cpl in Cabelas and they feel and look nice. Priced in the $129 range so in between the micro magic and Ghost. I like the reel seat and the guides are upgraded from the Ghost rod.

The bass noses down to investigate what is stirring up the bottom and will take the plastic being dragged. Ye...

Re: What is the best compact crank for ~10ft?

Those little evergreen's hunt like crazy ! Great baits. If you can find an old Mann's 10+ that's absolutely the smallest size crank you will ever find and it will dive 10 ft. Problem is I don't think they make em anymore I've been looking everywhere

Re: BASS lifts 8' for rule

They probably went to 10' so the guys can use fly rods. I don't think your gonna see 10' BASS rods right away I think you'll see them creep up in length, first there will be an 8 1/2 ft flipping stick and cranker then it will creep up from there. But hey who knows

Re: New St Croix Legend Elite

The 894 is just a tad more moderate and a little,,,,,,I said a little less power than the St Croix in my hands anyway. Either rods are great for 10" worms and Big jigs up to 3/4 and occasionally 1oz. Can't go wrong with either really the NRX is just slightly more sensitive in my hands I just found i...

Re: New St Croix Legend Elite

I have the 7'4" Hvy and it think it balances better Than my 894 NRX. Does the NRX edge out the St. Croix in sensitivity ? Maybe a little but not so much that its gonna cost you a fish cause you couldn't detect a most subtle bite or tap. So that being said I use the St Croix for Hvy T-rigs and Jigs i...

I have the 7' spinner for drop shots and I really like it. Loads up really nice with a 3/8 oz drop shot rig. The inserts look SIC to me but not sure. It's shiny like the SIC is
