Re: Between these two reels?

I would go with the Chronarch D reel as well. But here's one suggestion: go with the 100D5 instead of the D7. The reason is that the slower gear ratio will allow you to not overwork the swimbaits that you will be throwing with the reel. A slow gear ratio can also allow you to speed up your retrieve ...

Re: New dobyns!

I agree with you on this one. Dobyns rods are so versatile that they can be used for multiple purposes. Like you mentioned in the video, the rod is made for carolina rigs but Randy McAbee also uses it for swimbaits and flipping/pitching. I'm really interested in getting this rod also to use as a lig...

Re: Decoy Hydra vs Hudd

I really like the decoy hydra. I haven't caught very big fish on it but the ones that I catch were still good size. I love the action, more tail-kicking action that the huddleston. Also if you pause and let the lure sink it wobbles as it's going down which has caught a few good fish for me by swimmi...

Re: Yum Dinger F2

not to offend anybody but I hate the new f2 yum dingers. Don't get me wrong here, but to me the new version is stiff and doesn't disperse the same scent that the original one did. In a certain lake I fished the original dinger was king. Even the senko could not outfish it regardless of time of year ...

Re: Shimano Chronarch B handle question

So can I just buy shorter drive shaft to replace the one on my curado 50e? or will I just have to grind the shaft down as the only solution?

Shimano Chronarch B handle question

Hey there I recently purchased two shimano chronarch 100B handles. Just the handle and knobs, nothing else. Now I want to change the handles on my shimano reels with these but this handle will not fit because I think I might need the handle nut plate BTN2118. My question is, is this the only part I ...

Re: Favorite Fat Ika colors for clear water?

my all time favorite ika color for clear water is that watermelon with gold flake. My next two colors are watermelon/black flake and green pumpkin/blake flake. If the sun is up or there is a slight stain to the water that watermelon/gold flake color is dynamite. :D

Re: kistler z-bone

Thanks for the help edu daniel 14 but the problem is that all I can do on my phone is call and receive calls. I share a plan with my brother and he hates paying for text and web so is there another way that I can get the photos out of my phone?

Re: kistler z-bone

hey njbasscat I was talking about the champion series only not the champion extreme. I only had a chance to hold one and if I did have the money I would want to buy one in the near future to compare to this z-bone. Now I don't hate Dobyns rods, imo, they are the best balanced rods out there. However...

Re: kistler z-bone

I agree with you on the hook keeper as it did bother me a bit. But I really do think it's a tad more sensitive than my dobyns champion 733 and 704 rods. And even better than my cumaras. I still can't figure out a way to get my pics from my cell phone onto my computer to show some pics of the fish th...

kistler z-bone

hello everyone this is my first post and I want to make it different than everything here. I have been browsing this website for some time now and I always loved the reviews on rods, reels, and everything else. Anyways I don't see much talk about the new kistler z-bone rods. I recently purchased the...
