I was leaning toward the Chronarch MGL at one point. I believed the frame was magnesium , now I am reading that the whole reel
is made out of composite. Should anyone be afraid of buying composite made reels ?

My son has a Daiwa advantage 2500 had it for 6 years I think never done a thing to it, other than rub a little oil
on the cylinder that goes up and down when you crank, I don't know the name of the part.
its still smooth as butter.
They don't make this reel anymore would like something like it.
