Re: EVA handles ... yea or nay ?
Hi, I’m the one weirdo who likes rubberized cork. I have a Kuying rod with rubberized cork grips and man I love the way it feels, especially with wet hands.

Re: **Daiwa BLX & Megabass FMJ
I picked up one of the jdm Black Label Rods the other week, the little 6'4" "Twitching Frog". Fishes like a sawed-off mbr844c in the little time I have given it. Fit and finish are excellent, equal to my Destroyers. I am really looking forward to spending some time with it.

Re: Braid that holds it's color
Spiderwire invisibraid , it's white , never changes color. It's my fav for spinning reels , I use it with about 2' or 3' of leader. I tried a white braid a few years ago And some of the tannic ponds that I fish turned it brown almost instantly. I think I used one of the Suffix lines. Do you have an...

Re: Braid that holds it's color
Are there any high viz. braids that are particularly long lasting? I only grudgingly use braid on my spinning reels and without the ability to easily line watch I can’t stand the stuff.

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
Got one ordered, for some reason my phone wasn’t playing nice.
Excited to get it, if it has the performance of the old model with increased palm-ablety then its going to be a winner.

https://japanlureshop.com/daiwa-20-tatula-sv-tw.html Is this a new reel? I can't tell if it's based off the 100 frame? Yes, it's new. one JDM retailer told me it was due dec 20th. now it's due in Jan. Yes, it's the new 100 frame tatula size. Does anyone have any info about when this will be release...

Re: Best action for a jig rod
I am finding that the longer and more powerful a rod is, the slower I want the taper to be. There are a lot of exceptions, but in general I feel like once a rod gets powerful enough to set a thick jig hook, I want a slower taper to help keep them on during the fight. I also do most all of my fishing...

Re: zpi m and pg spools
I have a PG in an old TD-Z and it’s an amazing caster. Control and distance across most of the braking range. Tried the same spool in a Steez sv tw, five casts cost me $15 worth of Tatsu. The first four casts did go quite far though.... What was the issue in the Steez SV TW? I think they are a perf...
