Re: Shimano Loomis Conquest rods

Thinking about the 905 for jigs and double for a A-rig rod. Anyone have any feedback they can provide on this particular model?

Re: Spinnerbait guys: different blade configurations

Many times instead of getting hung up on blade configuration I have had success in switching blade colors. Chartruese rear blade in muddy water and on overcast days when the shad are spawning it is hard to beat a rear white blade for the fish to key in on.

Re: Go to jigs for largemouth

Lunker Lure Triple Rattleback and the Profound Outdoors Kelly Jordan jigs have been producers for me over the years. The Profound Outdoors jigs have a very stout hook that sticks em good.

Re: Jigs with Living Rubber

The older pigskin jigs from Booyah were very good in my opinion. One of the best summer baits I have used when the fish are relating to craws.

Mann's Ti-Classic if you can find them. Something about the vibration that drives the big ones nuts!

Re: Most sensitive JDM rod for crappie?

I use the Megabass Hedgehog Evolution quite often. This year my Addermine pulled some double duty and worked very well. The lake I fish has alot of laydowns, so we often use 8# test to pull the hook free and straighten so you do not spend the day retying.

Megabass Orochi Double X Flat Side Special Gen 1. Works well for 110's and Pointer 100's.

Re: JDM Rods to have this Spring???

I have the shallow water/fast moving speacial. Does really well for squarebills and rattle traps. Loads perfectly and do not pull the hooks loose when you hook up.

Re: Dropshot rod/reel recommendations

I just picked up the Megabass Addermine and from the initial time having it in my hands I feel it will be a fantastic drop shot rod. I feel it will do some other techniques well. I'd look at one if I were you.

Re: Conquest 842S or Megabass Addermine

The Addermine arrives yesterday. Very light and crisp rod from what I can see thus far. Looking to add one more spinning rod might just get another Addermine due to being able to use it foramy applications.

Re: Need help ( Bottom contact rod)

NRX 894 or Valdivia. Have both. Like the feel and balance of the Valdivia better, but the 894 sets a good hook.
