Megabass Orochi XX drop shot rod, Daiwa Tatula 7'1 MLXF, and Phenix M1 7'2 MXF. Currently only have two spinning reels to rotate between the 3 rods; Stradic Ci4 2500, and a Daiwa Lexa 2500. Looking into getting either another Stradic Ci4 or Tatula LT 2500.

For drop shotting you'll be fine with either a 2500 or 3000 sized reel. I personally prefer 2500 sized reels for the slight weight savings from the reel. My go to drop shot hook would be the Gamakatsu drop shot/split shot hook. I use sizes 1/0, 1, and 2.

I just picked up this reel while I was in Japan a few weeks ago, and was just going to ask about casting 3/16 oz sized lures. Great info as always on this forum
