There are several ways to spiral wrap rods. From the extreme of having only one guide that is not on the 0° axis or the 180° axis, all the way to using four guides not on the 0° axis or the 180° axis. I've built on the SCV version. As a punch rod The thing measured out over a thousand grams for power.

The 70HF was around 800 grams of power.

The only stuff I've ever measured with that kind of power are big swim bait blanks, muskie blanks, and saltwater blanks. Its a beast.
