Jighead type
What type of jighead is good for moderate cover (not too heavy vegetation, but quite a few trees/branches) and semi-rocky bottom?

Poppers vs"walk the dog" stick baits
Im seeing a lot of people do "walk the dog" with stick baits than I see people using poppers. Both are topwater, yet one seem to be used a lot more often than the other, even-though poppers create a bigger surface disturbance.
Why? Any advantage im not seeing with walk-the-dog baits?

spooling line onto spinning reel
I keep getting line twist from spooling my spinning reel. People say that the way your line comes off the line spool (cw or ccw) should match the way your bail rotates. So, the way your bail rotates...........looking from the back of the reel or the front? Been trying to copy this video http://www.y...

Crankbait modifications
Anyone tried to make a crankbait a bit more weedless, without adding weed guard to the hooks?
Im thinking of switching the belly hook to a double hook, and the tail to a single.
Anyone tried what im about to do, or have better ideas?

Pflueger Trion - what size?
Going to buy a Pflueger Trion reel to pair with my Daiwa Presso 6'6" UL rod. I was thinking of buying the smallest one, but got some suggestions from people saying that I should buy a slightly bigger reel, because if the reel is too small, and I pair it with a long rod, I may get backlash. What size...

Sanding cork handle
I have 2 BPS rods with their "powerhump" handle that im not really a huge fan of. Earlier today, i tried to sand it down with some fine sandpaper (not sure what grade), but noticed that the handle is not as smooth as it was originally. Do i need to use extra-fine sand paper, or can i put on some kin...

Re: Stuck Telescoping rods
if they are rusted together, then apply a wet towel soaked in a vineger around the ferrules. dont have to wet the entire towel, just the parts that you wrap around the ferrules. If they are stuck together by sheer force.......then you can try adding oil or lubricant around the ferrules? heating it u...
