I ordered a pair of MB-736 blanks on Aug 14th. Hopefully I get them before Thanksgiving.

It took a little over three months to get my grips. A few of the handles were uneven, not as carefully made as the CFX version. I've read some people received grips with no flaws.

Blanks arrive on time, sometimes sooner.

I fly fish freshwater. There are dedicated fly fishing forums that would address your needs. I hope this post doesn't irk the mods.

It seems opinions vary on the type of NFC blank. I've been very happy with the steelhead and salmon blanks. These blanks seem to have a good reputation. The opinions on the bass blanks vary.
