Re: New Steez TW ALUMINUM for 2017 !

I had the chance to use my Steez A a few days ago, and I had no issues casting a 1/4oz Thomas Buoyant spoon. It definitely felt too light for the reel, but I still managed to get some good distance with it. I had the reel paired with the One Ten Special btw.

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

My FedEx tracking number just got sent to me. \:D/ FYI - they were all generated today in advance of a mass shipment tomorrow. Just trying to get ahead of the game a little bit  All Tackle Trap pre-ordered US Destroyer models will be shipping out tomorrow guys! Was mine included there as well?...

Re: bassasaurus : Feedback Request Topic

Agree with papabassin. I also purchased a Zonda from Young, and the way he packaged the reel was exceptional. It was the best packaged reel I've ever received. Very neat, and shipping was fast as well.

Re: How straight are your G Loomis blanks?

I've only ordered an NRX 803C last year, and the blank was straight. However, I was pretty disappointed that at that price point, the guides were not straight/aligned and that some of them had too much epoxy as well. Make sure the guides are aligned just in case. I contacted G Loomis, and they fixed...

Awesome pics, Arnold! I am kinda regretting the Luxxe Oltre now after seeing those Steez rods lol. They look so nice

Re: Auction site gems

Tsunekichi is a jdm lure company. Looks like the 7.3 limited jdm zillion with an HLC handle. I never liked that chrome/aluminum strip across the thumbrest on those, but no doubt it's a good model zillion. I've always considered them the jdm version of the type R. That's pretty cool that there were ...

Re: Auction site gems

Looks like a 50th Anniversary Zillion, but the handle is different. Has anyone heard or seen this model, the Tsunekichi Edition?

Re: Luxxe Oltre B70H or ???

Going back through my records, it looks like I paid 10,000 yen for shipping (though the exchange rate was a bit more in favor of the Yen). Shipped via FedEx and the rods arrived in perfect condition. Thank you. Do you remember if you also had to pay for handling or was it just the rod + shipping an...

Re: Luxxe Oltre B70H or ???

I recently ordered a hard to find rod from Japan Angler. Just shoot them an email with the model number. He was able to get my rod despite not carrying that brand and the price was just as good as you can find on rakuten. Thank you. Kazu got back to me pretty quick, but unfortunately, he cannot ord...

Re: Luxxe Oltre B70H or ???

Thanks for the replies so far. I found this on Rakuten http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/proshopks/item/e4549018380309/ , but I'm not sure how shipping fees work on this website. Also, the title is kinda confusing. I sent an e-mail to bass.jp, hoping they have one in stock and the price isn't crazy...

Luxxe Oltre B70H or ???

Hi everyone, I was looking for a jig rod that could handle 1/2oz + jigs when I stumbled upon the Luxxe Oltre B70H. It seems they are very hard to find and only a few people own one, so for those who have this rod, where can I purchase one? Are there better alternatives? I was also thinking about the...

Thank you, everyone!
hysupra wrote:Holly crap!!! Very nice set up, I've never seen that reel before. How long did it take you to source this combo?
It took me a while, but I wasn't planning on using that money for this setup tbh. I just couldn't resist the IP68L Oracle Dragon.

More Megabass

Here is my newest addition: Megabass Destroyer F6-68X7 Super Rekkai paired up with the IP68L Dragon Edition. Special thanks to Gary for the IP68L Dragon Edition and to Arnold (ayo8) for the Super Rekkai. I've never seen or had anyone ship a rod the way he did; there was absolutely no way anything co...
