How do these palm, in relation to say the 200e series reels? I find those a bit wide for my hands.

I have been using the Texas Tackle Executive split ring pliers and am very happy with them.

If the weight is going to remain a set distance from the hook, perhaps a small swivel?

Agreed. Aside from weight, why are more and more manufacturers including them? I would gladly take on a few grams of weight than to have to swap out grips on a brand new reel.
