See, I think this reel could compete if it was $75 less, they put the carbon fiber pattern only in key areas on the sideplates, and made the rest of the reel a gloss black. Oh and swept the handle and star. OH and made it weigh less....and added more bearings.... Again, I think it could compete, not...

The smoke throws quarter ounce cranks and flukes pretty well. At least the 100 size that I have does. As far as swimbaits go, I wouldn't even think about throwing large ones with this guy. Definitely not apples to apples in comparison with the Z. More in line to be compared with it's closest priced ...
