Reminds me of the Joker :clown:
Me too! In fact it inspired me to order this decal off eBay for the long overdue new pallet jack I just got.

Re: 1016 BFS Reel

You are probably thinking of the T3 Balistic. The regular T3 1016 never sold for under $100 Yes it was a Ballistic, the full Zaion body one, I should have been more clear, the red and black trim ballistic was the cheaper version, I was definitely not talking about the silver/grey T3. That being sai...

Re: OG tatula vs New tatula rod

Yes, but I use it more for senkos, finesse jigs, and light texas rigs. It's great for dead sticking 5.8 and 6.8 flick shakes. Daiwa needs to bring this rod or an equivalent ... ie Steez Harrier-Finesse to pair with the new Steez ct sv If I get an Alphas CT, and let's be honest, I will, that rod is ...

Re: Rod Weights

Got a new one in... Majorcraft MS-1 7'5" MH "finesse" (MH backbore with a XF soft tip) 3.95oz Bet that's a cool rod! It is a fun rod, tested it a little bit yesterday. Its was super windy but it felt nice and sensitive, taper is very interesting. Not as soft as the tatula solid tip rod but its defi...

Re: HH Purple Parts

Deep purple. If you have a Zonda lying around, the metal ring covering the magnets in the side plate is royal purple, the part under the spool tension knob is a little more blue than deep purple, and the line guide is very close to deep purple. The knob caps on this reel are HH royal purple and the ...

Re: Alternatives to my rod

I used to think I should only use rods over 7', the longer the better, weight and balance be damned. I'm 6' tall and now all my favorite sticks range from 6'4" to 6'10". Most of the extra length in the 7 footers I use most is in the handle. I've found that especially for jerkbaits, poppers, walking ...

A T3 is a good place to start. Also you can't go wrong with an SS SV for that purpose.

Re: OG tatula vs New tatula rod

That's good to hear. They really are great rods for the money and I'm glad they actually managed to improve upon them without jacking up the price. Here are the weights of the 1st gen models I have or have had in the past: Tatula 6101MXB: 3.8 Tatula 6101MHFB: 3.7 Tatula 711MHXB: 3.8 Tatula 711MHRB: ...
