Re: SV103 for big baits?
If you can add a faster worm gear, that will help with the digging in of the line. The Tackle Trap has the left hand high speed worm gear in stock for original Zillion and SV103, but the right hand models are sold out for the time being... http://tackletrap.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=898_6...

the scorpion 70xg is a sweet reel ,palms well , would make a excellent pitchin/flippin reel.

Re: Any word on the new chronarch??
if they made it with aluminum frame and sideplate with the mgl spool and new braking that would bring back the chronach to its former glory, plus give people the option if they did'nt want a mg based reel or composite That's the Metanium. the metanium is magnesium not aluminum,so there is no point t...

Re: Any word on the new chronarch??
they drooped the ball on that reel ,they should have made it aluminum frame and sideplate like the older chronarchs. especially after daiwa came out with aluminum steez. I disagree, the aluminum steez is going to be in an entirely different price bracket. Probably around $400. I wouldn't be surpris...

Re: Steez TWS SV vs. Zillion TWS SV
Just to avoid any possible confusion. The spool tension can be adjusted on the Steez. I actually recommend it depending on what you're using the reel for, finesse / big baits, etc true you can adjust it if you want to but I have to disagree the magnetic brakes provide enough drag on the spool the w...

Re: Steez SV TW. no clicking tension knob?????
Just got one of these. Seems awesome and cannot wait to use it. Was a little bothered by the fact that the tension knob does not click like the old steez. And the drag star seems like it is plastic, My tatula R has a zaion drag star that I like. Maybe it is Zaion painted black to match the reel. Al...
