True carbon fiber is plenty strong for fishing reels. But metal is metal and cheap which is why it is used in the tatula.

That looks like a great bladed jig. Wonder what it will cost? That is my only problem with bladed jigs. Even Chatterbaits are too expensive for what you get. I can get them for 3 bucks all day long from my jig guy, and I know they have good hooks!

I am looking at another rod for flipping. I have a DX744 and LOVE IT! I either want another DX or try the MegaBass Orochi. Wanted a solid comparison of the two if there is one. I may just wait for the Zayta as I know that will be the cat's ass!
