Re: The limited Ferrari in Ultralight fishing will be out year

In my limited experience, at least with bass rods, regular action rods tend to be heavier, especially in the top half of the rod, than a fast, which are heavier than an extra fast. I figure it's because it takes more material in the tip to make it stiffer so the the bend starts further down in the b...

Re: Steez A vs zillion type R

I'd keep one, sell the other, and save a bit for a Steez A. That way you still have your type r and try the Steez. I think you'll like it better because it's so much lighter and there's no reason you should expect any problems out of it using for swim jigs and chatterbaits. Depending on the rod you'...

I'm thinking the same thing. That's gonna be a rare and sought after reel one of these days.

Re: Alphas air stream custom

I just bought a couple from a seller in Croatia. They're the same size as the one that comes with SV Lights and Steezes. I guess it's probably a medium? I don't know. You'll have to post a pic when you get yours. I'll probably follow suit.

I don't know if the bait reel covers come in different sizes. Are you sure you're not looking at the spinning reel cover?

Nice. All JDM Tackle Heaven sent me was a lucky cat eraser. Naw, even that's actually pretty cool. Departure Outdoors sent me a Laffy Taffy with some line. \:D/

I can whip mine out there no problem, so I don't know. I almost always side arm, whether whip casting or slow rolling.

Re: Steez AGS casting rods

Pretty much my weightless combo with light t-rigs up to only 1/4oz. I dont go any heavier. I'm sure it will handle up to 3/8 fine. The rod is a bit softer compared to your regular ex fast we have for the nrx or croix rods. Edit: also using 12lbs shooter and will normally max out on the rod line rat...

Re: Ultralight casting goals...

I'd love to build a BFS vintage ambassador but they are pricy for the small reels. I'll get to it eventually. X2 And difficult to get a nice 2501/2601. I wonder why they do not make the reels right now... REVO ](*,) If they released a swedish version of the 2501 I'd be on it in a heartbeat. I love ...

Me too. Even my cranking sticks will set a worm hook. I don't like noodles unless they're in my Pho.
