Re: ZILLION Silver Wolf specs

Zillion G already has 2 bushing in the levelwind both JDM and USDM so you aren't losing anything there. Only difference I see here is a PE spool. not sure what the TWS difference is they speak of. mabybe similar to the high speed line guide that the OG zillion had for braid. Best guess on the bearin...

Re: Phenix K2 715 vs 736

I only have experience /w the 736 and it is a fantastic 3/8+ jig rod. Very good taper for jigs. Has alot of power for it's weight range.

Re: newer tatula sv vs steez size?

Nearly the same. The steez svtw and steez a variants feel a little more compact due to the recessed brake dial. Tatulas dial bulge out a bit

Re: Shim Failure, careful ordering 4x7xmm

Use purple loctite. It's the low strength formula. I've had the screws strip when using blue loctite, medium strength. Whatever you do, dont use the red. That's for whatever you want to stay there forever. Do you have any guess on the shim size? 4x7's were too big, matched the bearings identically ...

Re: Anyone have some time on the new Alphas 800

The alphas tw , when bearings are flushed (like all daiwas need) will bomb a 1/4oz swim jig. Absolute steal at sub 200$.

Re: Please Help

I wouldn't over react and start a Paypal claim yet....JLS is a great vendor but accidents do happen. Just be mindful of the time difference. Your correspondence won't happen until early/mid evening. Email them your order #, issue, and they'll fix it.

Re: Project T 22 #6: another Tatula

From the Daiwa US website The literature claims Hyper Double support. 1aaaa70b - Copy.jpg The graphic of the SV spool shows a short shaft. 1aaaa70a - Copy.jpg https://daiwa.us/collections/baitcasting-reels/products/tatula-sv70 That's the same graphic daiwa uses for all their SV spool reels...includ...

The frame is the same size as the Alphas TW but the spool uses a long shaft and is 32mm.
Tatula sv70 is a 30mm spool. At least according to this.

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000

Anybody with hands on experience to compare the JDM and USDM versions? I have the 8.5:1 usdm version and I am wondering if I should get another one or a JDM version. Would use it for 12# fc and senkos. Is there a difference in the two reels for skipping? I personally think that the USDM version wit...

Re: GeeCrack

I threw the bellowsgill 3.8 alot this spring and will continue . 1/8oz free rig and jika was what I settled on. These things have a lot more weight than you would expect. How was the durability on them? I've seen some negative reviews in that regard They aren't as bad as you would think. Not nearly...
