Let's add up what we know : 1. Aluminum frame and sideplates - very good 2. Wider spool for more line capacity - neutral for me...maybe good for some guys 3. I fished with a Banax Sedna baitcaster for a couple of years.It was during the period just before my TT christening :lol: I only have good things to say about this reel,casting was great and quality was up there.It now sits in my cupboard collecting dust :| I guess they would be on par with BPS reel...

The key is to familiarize yourself with your reel regardless of the braking system it uses.This together with an 'educated' thumb will give you the greatest rewards.When you hit that 'magic' balance,you will know.
