I've removed those bearing retainer in my Tatula CT (inside tension knob), it pop out easily but once installed back, shape is deformed and now it's look ugly even though it doesn't affect bearing spin performance. I have yet casting with this spool, looking to do that by weekend. I plan to use this on my ultralight setup, 1-6 lb rod, using 5lbs fluorocarbon main line and 1/8oz (3.5g) lure for pacific tarpon and Barramundi

Question, is it ok to turn the handle deliberately with no spool on it?
