Re: Shimreels Shop
I have had the exact opposite experience with this guy. He has bait and switched me twice. He will substitute baits/colors without asking and then play dumb about it. He also is very rude and condescending even when you are totally polite and direct. The final straw was when I attempted to buy a sup...

Re: St Croix LTB Swim Jig Finesse
I have one, great rod, very fast tip that allows you to throw lighter baits with great backbone as said above. The fast tip also allows the fish to eat the swimming jig without ripping it out. Overall a very good rod, I have mostly thrown swim jigs and a few spinnerbaits on mine.

Re: Rod Loft Pro
I have had one for about 10 years now, most of the mounting brackets have broken, pretty cheap plastic, and it may not be UV resistant (I think that caused some of the failures) I have jerry rigged it more than a couple times, holds rods well but the mounting brackets need improvement. I am consider...

Re: First time using a 110 ever :(
I have said it before and I will say it again, either the rock or the tiny piece of plastic is going to give, which do you think will win? ](*,) This bait was never made for contact with hard cover, thats the bottom line. Supposedly the new squarebill is designed for this application. But with that ...

I have yet to find one I like more than the Reaction Innovations Flirt. For smallies it would have to be the Poor Boys Erie Darter, reg and JR.

Just so we give credit where credit is due, this list is from Russ the Bassdozer, so unless steve is russ we should cite it... http://bassdozerstore.blogspot.com/2013/02/choosing-megabass-jerkbait-colors.html Its all good...not looking for credit. I simply used Google...then cut and paste from mult...

I think it was actually the Fig Newton inventor, but I digress...WoodT wrote:

History of Megabass in the US
I was doing a little research and came across this
http://www.megabassusa.com/about
The story about Yuki dueling with American tackle shop owners is one of the coolest stories I have heard in a while, thought I should share as I hadnt heard this story before.

Re: Megabass Junkies
Yeah, but that guy SUCKS. Actually I like that guy's site. i look up to people who have managed to take leading and influential roles in the bass fishing industry, even minor ones, having to drive a boat around 330 days a year. *cough* I am also guessing, based on other writing on that site, ...

Re: Calcutta te 100dc
What line are you using for this reel. Is braid an option to get more line on seeing it only hold 95 yards of 10# mono? And if so what is the best test of braid to put on it. For small cranks I like to use 12 # flouro but can't see using it on this reel. for reference berkley xt is .014" in 10 # I ...

Re: Megabass Junkies
► Guanium Ghost finish (GG) - is one of the most popular Megabass finishes. It's used in order to apply guanine, a natural substance found in fish scales that causes reflection on fish scales. Combined with the fine etched scale lines molded into the plastic, it gives convincingly realistic baitfis...
