Re: Auction site gems

Minty/nos OG Zillion type r, td-z type r+, etc etc from a seller. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F283028786035 I may or may not know the seller(not sure of TT rules). He may be a long time member of TT family. He may have just lost his mother Saturday...

Yeah, that's a little squirrelly, especially on flagship $500+ rods. Not too bad though(assuming they're all Fuji). At least they aren't micros.

Re: Alphas air stream custom

Just recieved mine today. Some quick notes: -Spool weighs 9.15g holds about 50yds of 4lb mono. Still has the same heavy bearing on the spool as the other air reels so weight is a bit deceiving. -Fixed induductor! Retrieve feels the same as the alphas air and alphas sv reels as its the same gears an...

Re: TackleTour Shootout : Stella FJ vs Exist LT

Surprisingly not mentioned is the drag performance/smooth drag test?

Also- Stella Max drag: 7lbs. Exist LT Max drag: 11lb.

Unless the Stella has slightly better drag performance that negates the drag ratings, I'm not sure how this can be a tie. Specswise, Daiwa has the stouter drag.

Re: WTB a rod, Something Different

For something less exotic(expensive) from Daiwa, but ranked higher than tatula elite/ zillion, check out the jdm black label rods- there's some models that are drool worthy. Really wish these were available in America. (Also view in google chrome). http://www.daiwa.com/jp/fishing/item3/rod/bass/inde...

Re: WTB a rod, Something Different

I haven't used any of those but like them all. Been wanting that Bush Hunter for a long time(though I think the name has a lot to do with it  ) That heartland is absolutely stunning. It's a limited edition Rod & Reel Magazine 20th anniversary collaboration model. Here's some more pics of it: ht...

Re: Alphas air stream custom

Just popped up for pre-order at digitaka. https://www.digitaka.com/item.php?item=184960652137102 Thanks man! Just ordered one. Monkey's been whispering in my ear on this guy ever since I saw pics last winter. :D Know what else uses a 31mm spool....pixy! The Daiwa link states that the spool is not c...

Lighter, stronger, more sensitive. Sounds nice! That mb 736 looks like the one I'd want most.

Really interested to hear feedback on these.

I’ve got a few steez sv tw and steez a’s. None of them have this issue and none of them have a washer under the pawl cap. Ok thank you for that info. I took that little washer from another reel and put it in the cap and i didnt change anything. Im going to have to get on the phone with daiwa again ...

Re: MB vision 110 color

That hot shad ko looks to fit the description too. But those are pretty bold colors, I'd go for the twighlight chart back of the 2. Since this is tackle tour and we like to help each other spend money :big grin: : Pro blue has probably cashed more checks than any other color- since your fish like or...

Actual pics in this thread (only place I've seen it)- https://sdfish.com/forums/t/new-2018-da ... it.166043/

Looks more like an older curado green in person, vs the matte army green look in that digitka pic. Would probably be a perfect match on a legend elite blank

Re: Megabass Orochi XX... What’s next for the USDM??

For the guys that broke their new xx rods. Why not just return the rods to the store vs going through the warranty process? I would hate to waste the one "free" warranty claim on a new barely used rod. I've got the Diablo and Brailist on pre-order, hoping for no issues with mines but sometimes u ne...
