Re: Bac Rac Rod Storage System on older model ('98) Skeeter

I would send that photo to Bac-Rac and see if they can come up with a solution. Unfortunately It doesn't look like it based on the photo.

Re: Bac Rac Rod Storage System on older model ('98) Skeeter

Why do you think you'll need the U adaptor?

A buddy in town has a 97 zx185. I have an original bac rac. Hang right and I will install my rac on his boat and snap some pics for you.

I am intrigued! What do you pay for them?
I was quoted $0.70 cents each if I bought 100. That's right up there with an original Yamamoto Senko.

Re: if roboworm made senko-style stickbaits, would you buy?

That's crazy! I was thinking the same thing over the weekend.

Yes, I would buy them in a heartbeat. I haven't found anyone that can mass produce a three color pour in a senko style bait.

I've located a custom bait maker than can make them for me however they're a premium.

Post a pic of your back locker for me to see. If I'm not mistaken, your skeeter's battery compartment lid stretches the entire length of your deck, right?

Re: Red... Why red? Fishing reel colors.

Personally for me, its purple. The Steez XS with its purple accents is downright gorgeous. And the new JDM Tatula? Guess what color they're using? Purple. Purple accents on the hi-speed model. And its flippin sweet!!! Can you provide a link to what this reel looks like? http://img.tacklewarehouse.c...

Re: Chronarch C14+: Questions, opinions??

I can't compare to the reels you own, but I can give you some feedback. I don't finesse fish with casting gear, so my experience pitching is 3/8oz and above. It's been extremely easy to dial in and baits sail effortlessly. Casting is just as easy and extremly far. I have large hands so palming is ve...

Re: nrx owner ?

Easy answer....873 CRR for the delta. It may be a tad too powerful for spotted bass applications at Oroville, Shasta or Melones. You can jump down to the 853c or 852c for that. Otherwise for Clear Lake, Berryessa, Folsom etc where there's a healthy population of quality bass, it will be perfect for ...

Re: Punch/umbrella rig rod

Not sure what size umbrella rig you'll throw, but I would check out a Dobyns champion 804c. They label it as a Carolina rig rod but I have found that it doubles nicely as a flip/punch/swimbait/large topwater rod. I have punched 1.5oz weights and swung a 6 pound bass over the gunnel with this rod. Pe...

The spinnerbait special has surprised me i have thrown spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, small jigs and t rigs, senkos , and some small swimbaits like the swing impacts. The rod handled...
